3Bets is a free-to-play sports prediction game. This policy explains what information the app keeps, why, and how you can delete it.
What we collect
- Your username, which you pick when you start. We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number or location.
- A random account code made by the app on your device, so the app knows the account is yours. Only a scrambled (hashed) version is stored on our server.
- Your profile picture, only if you choose to add one.
- What you do in the game: bets you create and place, your 3Cash balance, badges, challenges, comments, likes, who you follow, players you block and comments you report.
- Notification sign-up: if you turn on notifications, a notification address for your device, so we can tell you when your bets win.
How we use it
Only to run the game: showing your profile, bets, leaderboards and comments, paying out bets, and sending the notifications you asked for. We don't show ads, we don't use tracking or analytics services, and we never sell or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
What other players can see
Your username, profile picture, badges, rank, 3Cash total, betting record, bets you create, comments, and your follower and following counts are visible to other players.
Where it's kept
The app and its database run on Cloudflare's servers. Live sports scores and stats are loaded from ESPN by your device; ESPN receives normal web requests from your device when that happens, like when you visit any website.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Account → Delete my account. This permanently deletes your account, 3Cash, badges, profile picture, comments, follows and notification sign-ups. Finished bets other players took part in stay settled so their results don't change.
Children
3Bets is meant for people 17 and older and isn't directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
